DIONNE WARWICK's "Hot! Live And Otherwise", a 2 LP-Set Remastered by Audiophile Pioneer MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB (2-098) in the 80's with the Chatsworth address and Pressed in JAPAN, is a TEST PRESSING with MFSL White Test Pressing labels, with the LP # and Side (A/B/C/D) printed along with a hand-stamped "Sample" on each label. Test Pressings are the rarest and better sounding than the regular pressings, since they were the first to be made off of the mother-stamper and were usually limited to no more than 10. In the case of Audiophile records, this can make some difference to the most discerning of listeners and along with their scarcity make then highly collectable. Most Test Pressings come in a White Jacket (which I will also be selling), however this one has a regular cover making it even more interesting. Also included are the original rice sleeves and double-cardboard inserts (with MFSL info) for each LP (Not Usually Found With Test Pressings). The Cover comes in a plastic outer sleeve. This and many other MFSL Test Pressings (& Regular MFSL records) I will be offering are from a former MFSL employee who has confirmed that he has Rarely or Never Played most of the Test Presses (and Never Played the Mint Regular releases).

Both LPs are in MINT condition, and have Never been played, with NO visible spindle marks on any of the labels and not a mark or scratch of any kind on the 4 sides of very clean and glossy vinyl.

The Gatefold Cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with a 3" split on the top seam of the back panel and a 2" split on the bottom, while the front panel has a 3" semi-split on top and 1" on the bottom. The corners are generally sharp, except for the upper left which has been bumped good with wrinkles that show both on the front and the inside gate. The front and back show just very Light wear, other than the above bump.
