This record is in excellent condition. It has a few spindle marks visible on each of the labels but there is not a drastic amount. Other than these there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage. There are no stains or fading and the centres are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in very nice condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are clean overall with no real scratches or serious marks showing. There is however light superficial 'mottling' or smudges on both sides and a few faint lines or sleeve marks which show in normal light. These are still evident under bright light along with a few light wispy lines but again nothing deep or serious. So overall the record is in nice playing condition but does have this light mottling/smudges and some signs of use as mentioned.
I play tested the record and it played well with really nice audio but it has some warping to it. This causes the arm to raise on both sides. It is not huge but is clearly visually noticeable. It is not serious enough to cause problems to playback or to the sound produced but is visually noticeable as I say. Due to this arm movement and the 'mottling' to the playing surfaces I have graded at excellent which I think is fair as it does sound very nice. There is no major surface noise at any point on the lp and no skips or sticks. I noted around 10 to 12 really faint ticks in an incredibly quiet passage of the last track on side 2 but overall the audio is really clear and very enjoyable.
It includes its original lyrics inner which looks tidy with only light creasing and mild ring marks but it unfortunately has a long split across most of the bottom edge. It is therefore fragile and so I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
