Description
I got hold of this LP in 1996 after attending an amazing performance by Dirty Three at a European music festival (Nick Cave and P.J. Harvey were in the wings of the stage, and they were not amused when I signaled how much I love them... heh.)
From what I can gather, this is the 1994 U.S. edition of Sad and Dangerous, which was distributed by care of Forced Exposure in Waltham, Mass. (see pictures for tell-tale inner sleeve). Comes with a nifty Forced Exposure pvc sleeve. For details about this edition, go to fromthearchives dot com slash dt slash discography dot html. (eBay keeps me from typing in the actual link.)
VINYL: looks very fine, with just a few of those faint scuffs that result from taking a record out of its inner sleeve several times. It does not affect sound quality; if you disagree, I do returns.
COVER: is absolutely stunning. Silkscreening on heavy card stock, and has--almost!--the texture and the marks of a lithograph. Includes purple silkscreened cardboard insert. Visually, this one is pretty remarkable and the pix here don't really do it justice.
