In the late 70's and early 80's Middlesbrough had a very healthy punk rock scene centered around the town's Rock Garden venue where all of the greats played at some point. They were often supported by locals acts such as THE AMAZING SPACE FROGS, NO WAY, etc. From the Middlesbrough scene, three especially legendary records which are now highly collectable worldwide were produced - THE AMAZING SPACE FROGS 'Dirty Habits' EP, NO WAY 'Breaking Point' EP, and this, the DISCHARGE / THE FILTH split EP.
This record has only ever had ONE OWNER (my friend, Kev) and was purchased direct from THE FILTH at a gig at Middlesbrough's Rock Garden at the time.
CONDITION :
SLEEVELESS as issued by THE FILTH although it does still have the original white dustsleeve it came in! That's showing it's age, but can obviously be easily replaced. RECORD is around VG- visually with a fair ammount of mainly light surface scratches. However, it plays well like an VG+ to an EX- with some slight to-be-expected surface noise, more so on THE FILTH side, but nothing too drastic. I've just listened to it again before listing this ...
