Very interesting book (in Mint condition) published in 1989. It is written and compiled by Drs. Jan Bart, discographer of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, who also wrote the history of the orchestra, published in two Volumes.

This is a book for collectors as it lists all known recordings of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra starting in 1926 when the orchestra began recording after the electrical recording process had been introduced.

Labels: Telefunken, Polydor, Siemens, Decca, Philips, Deutsche Grammophon, Donemus (Composers Voice), etc.

The book is in Dutch, but the entries are easily understood. Yet I will add a 10 page synopsis and explanation of how the entries can be read. And on top of that a list of English terms and words with the Dutch equivalent (technical and musical). So you can fully explore the recordings, dates, and explanation.
