Test pressings often provide the best quality audio for a particular album because the discs are cut from first generation laquers before they are worn from multiple pressings. They are the earliest copies pressed and used for approval purposes by the label, engineers and artists prior to regular albums being made. If you have a quality hi fi system and a regular pressing of this album, you will likely be amazed at the improvement of fidelity of a test pressing vs a stock copy can provide.
