DIZZY GILLESPIE & LALO SCHIFRIN-FREE RIDE 1977 PABLO RECORDS LP 2310-794 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! Dizzy Gillespie meets up with an old friend to create some tasty jazz in this auction. The collaboration between Lalo & Dizzy first happened in 1962 and in 1977 Lalo Schifrin composed, arranged and conducted the great trumpeter once again for this recording. Tracks such as Unicorn, Fire Dance, the title cut & Ozone Madness all appear on this must own late 70's jazz release. All fans of either artist need this one in their collection, it's a keeper!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light but visible hairline on song 1, side 1 that definitely does not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The cover has mild wear along the edges and minor rubs on the corners. The original inner sleeve is intact. A terrific buy!!
