Scarce vintage jazz LP featuring DIZZY REECE on the BLUE NOTE label, from 1959. 

Title is “STAR BRIGHT.”  Monaural pressing, catalog number is BLP 4023.  

Record is thick vinyl, with deep groove.   

Label address on both sides is "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC * 47 WEST 63rd * NYC.”  "R"registry symbol is present.

Matrix number is hand-etched, and “RVG” is machine-stamped in trailoff vinyl, with "ear" symbol on both sides.  Jacket states "For complete catalog write to BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 47 West 61st Street, New York 23, N. Y." on reverse at bottom. 

Personnel consists of the following:  Dizzy Reece – trumpet;  Hank Mobley – tenor sax;  Wynton Kelly – piano;  Paul Chambers – bass;  Art Taylor – drums.

Jacket:   Jacket is EX, with no serious flaws.  Front art work is clean and bright.  No splits, writing, or stickers.  Corners are well defined.  Beginning to show a few very slight traces of surface wear on reverse, but no serious flaws.    

Vinyl:  Vinyl is VG++, has several light hairline scuffs on each side that do not affect the playing except for an occasional soft tic.  There are no serious marks, and virtually no wear.  Fidelity is excellent.  This is a very nice playing copy of this essential early Blue Note gem.
