Description

This is "Progress Report" by Dizzy Reece; an ultra rare original issue on the British Tempo label. Laminated cover is in EX condition with a corner bend at top left, some minor lamination peeling, some rubbing/wear on middle of spine, and a very tight/clean 2 inch seam split at bottom that has been touched up a bit with a felt(to make it less obvious perhaps?). I have uploaded pics of these minor issues. This cover is very flimsy and fragile so with that in mind I think this is quite a nice cover overall. The vinyl is visually quite clean looking; only bright light reveals some non-feelable scuffs and small marks that seem pretty cosmetic. Playback is mainly VG+ with some soft audible background crackle..it's a bit heavier at the beginnings of both sides and gets better towards the end of each side. It's far from terrible, but it's not dead quiet either. Overall this is pretty nice copy and it even comes with the original rice paper innersleeve! A holy grail of UK jazz and extremely rare.
