Description
This auction is for a sweet copy of OOP Mo Wax 2xLP vinyl original pressing of the 1995 album Meiso by Japanese hip-hop legend DJ Krush. This was his third studio album and comes in beautiful deluxe packaging that includes inner picture sleeves for each record that together comprise the artwork "Into the White (Diptych) by artist Futura 2000. The back of the sleeves even show the reverse of the paintings' canvases. A die-cut outer sleeve holds the two records together.
I bought this new when it was released and played just a couple of times, as reflected in the vinyl's near mint grading. The sleeve has moderate signs of wear, including lightly dented corners and creasing at the edges. There is also noticeable ring wear on the outer die-cut picture sleeve. No seam splitting or other significant defects. All flaws are documented as thoroughly as possible in the accompanying photos so you know what you're bidding and can do so with confidence. Additional photos and/or other information gladly provided on request, so please and ask any questions you might have prior to placing a bid.
Money issues are forcing me to sell off my records, and I'm pricing this one low with no reserve.
Please note that I'm not a dealer and these are my own records lovingly cared for over the years. Thanks for checking out my auction. Although I'm new to selling, my goal is to provide the same type of buying experience that I appreciate when buying myself.
Shipping for this item will be the actual calculated cost of the service you select, plus $5 to cover packing it properly (a necessity when shipping expensive vinyl) and insurance.
When shipping vinyl, this is my packing process:
1. Records are removed from the outer picture sleeve and any printed inner sleeve, and placed in standard plain white sleeves (the type with die-cut label holes in the center on both sides) for travel outside the picture sleeve. (This is to prevent seam splitting in transit).
Printed inner sleeve and/or any other insert material goes back in the outer sleeve for travel.
2. Everything is then placed in a heavy-duty poly bag, and taped up securely (so that the contents will fare better in the event that the package gets wet or is exposed to weather en route).
3. The item is securely sandwiched between very sturdy 12.5"x12.5" 3-ply chipboard stiffeners (these are primarily to protect the corners of the picture sleeve from damage in transit, but also make it less likely that the entire package can be bent or warped, while also adding a layer of protection against damage from sharp objects).
4. If you're receiving fewer than 5 standard LPs with sleeves, your item(s) will be packed snugly and shipped in a well-sealed quality LP mailer box. For any orders requiring a larger box, bubble wrap will fill any space not consumed by the items, to ensure that there is no movement of contents once the box is sealed up and on its way.
Satisfied buyers are more important than any individual sale, so I strive to be accurate and fair in all steps of the process: in listing and pricing an item; conducting a transaction; preparing a sold item properly for safe transit (as described above); and shipping it promptly. I try to respond to messages, questions, and concerns quickly and to communicate effectively. However, if after receiving an item from me, you feel less than satisfied for any reason, please contact me to discuss before posting negative or neutral feedback. I strive to ensure that anyone who wins one of my auctions is happy with his or her purchase, and will take any reasonable actions that necessitates.
Please check out my other auctions for more rare and collectible items. Thanks for looking and good luck!
