DJAX Up Beats 1990-2005: The Acid Trip EP 1

Delsin Netherlands

12" Cat: DSRDJAXEP 1
Rel: 11 May 26
Techno Side 1 - Track 1. Mike Dearborn - An Acid Memory Side 1 - Track 2. Gene Hunt - Modevation Process Side 2 - Track 1. Random XS - As It Takes Side 2 - Track 2. Spasms - Circuits Overload

One of underground techno's lesser-told stories finally gets the treatment it deserves as Delsin has launched an ambitious six-volume excavation of Eindhoven's Djax-Up-Beats catalogue, all knowingly curated by Rush Hour co-founder Christiaan Macdonald with five volumes and 20 tracks dedicated to the label's acid legacy. Miss Djax's fiercely non-conformist imprint traced acid's journey from Chicago roots outward and as well as one complete section, these taster EPs offer up a glimpse of what the full project entails. Chicago heavyweights Mike Dearborn and Gene Hunt bring the rawness here with Random XS and Spasms also turning you inside out with 303 madness.
