Description

This is the first LP of Guinean kora player and singer Djeli Moussa Diawara.  It is self-titled, though in the years after its release it's come to be known as Yasimika.  It was released in 1983 on the French label Tangent (TAN LP 7002).  The ensemble includes balafon, guitar and a female chorus featuring Djanka Diabate (Sekou Bembeya's wife).  Glare in photos is due to sunlight, and not indicative of flaws in the actual item.  I will ship internationally, though cost will vary on location.
