THE HOLY grail for all Mott The Hoople collectors - this was the very first band formed by Mick Ralphs and included Stan Tippins and Peter 'Overend' Watts in their native Herefordshire. They got a residency in Italy one summer and taped a few tracks in a variety of studios and the next thing they new, was that this album appeared after they had broken up. naturally it sold about 3 copies and the band eventually teamed up with Ian Hunter to form Mott whilst Tippins became their road manager.

The material is very sixties sounding psych beat consisting of 12 tracks - mostly r 'n b/soul covers and a Kinks song. Very powerful performances and Ralphs guitar is right up front.

Pressing: Interrecord, Italy, 1968

Vinyl: Superb clean condition. No spindle marks and very little sign of use. Numerous tiny scuffs only visible under a bright light - primarily due to sliding in and out of the inner sleeve. It's clear that this record has hardly ever been played. Grades as Nr Archive MINT-!

Cover: Minor signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated period full colour cover. Sharp corners (2 edges slightly worn) - no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. A little spine wear - very minor. Displays time spent in a used bin over the years - but nothing horrendous, just minor aging. Impossible to find like this 50 years after release. You'll never find a better copy. Grades as Ex.
