DOCTOR WHO BBC THEME SNGLE 1973 RELEASE!
The world famous and ground breaking Doctor Who theme, composed by Ron Grainer and realised by the genius of Delia Derbyshire has been released in various forms over the years.
This auction is for the 1973 BBC Records release and was the first version to have a picture sleeve. Serial number RESL 11, it is 7” format. ‘Side A’ obviously features the Stereo version of the theme and ‘Side B’ backs it with a composition by Paddy Kingsland of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop entitled ‘Reg’.
Condition is very good with some scuffs and small creases to the cover but nothing too bad. Some wear to corners and edges. The reverse of the sleeve has a few small marks. The record itself looks to be in excellent condition with no scratches or marks at all. Please note I have no turntable so I haven’t been able to play it to check it properly.
