Very scarce complete collector's LP is available here in NM vinyl condition. Original Chase labels. Inner sleeve is NM, jacket also NM overall.
Graded according to the Record Collector's Guild specifications: Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. Very Good Plus (VG+) Some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Good (G), Good Plus (G+) A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping.
The soundtrack to director/screenwriter Richard Lowenstein's 1986 film is set in Melbourne, Australia. Brian Eno is typically wacky on "Skysaw," while Iggy Pop's dreamy "Endless Sea" is appropriate latter-day Iggy. Michael Hutchence is at his best imitating David Bowie reciting Prokofiev's Peter & the Wolf on the spoken-word "The Green Dragon," the late singer also performing on the title track. Nick Cave delivers with a 1979 track by Boys Next Door. This music was recorded between 1979 and 1986.
