Don Dokken is the founder, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal band Dokken. Formed in Los Angeles in the late 1970s, Dokken became one of the defining acts of the 1980s glam metal era with a melodic yet aggressive sound that combined soaring vocals, catchy hooks, and powerful guitar work. Don’s distinctive voice and songwriting helped drive the band’s success through multi-platinum albums including Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key, and Back for the Attack. Known for hits such as “Alone Again,” “In My Dreams,” and “Burning Like a Flame,” Don Dokken remains an influential figure in rock music and continues to perform and record with Dokken today.
George Lynch is an acclaimed guitarist and songwriter best known for his groundbreaking work with Dokken during the band’s classic 1980s lineup. Renowned for his explosive technique, inventive riffs, and highly expressive solos, Lynch became one of the most respected guitarists of the hard rock and metal movement. His signature playing style helped define landmark albums such as Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key, and Back for the Attack, featuring standout tracks like “Mr. Scary,” “Into the Fire,” and “Kiss of Death.” Beyond Dokken, Lynch has enjoyed a successful solo career and fronted projects including Lynch Mob, earning lasting recognition as one of rock’s premier guitar virtuosos.
