Original 1974 lp on Mandla (KRS 114)
Dollar Brand - Underground In Africa.
South African original. His most consistently sought after album and possibly the rarest of all his albums. Includes ‘Kalahari’ a twenty three minute long deep jazz masterpiece! Other cuts are Ornettes Cornet, All Day & All Night Long and Gwidza. Very scarce album and literally almost impossible to find in mint condition. This copy does have some small surface marks but overall these don't detract from the enjoyment of the record.

Vinyl has three small areas of non feelable spidery surface marks to Side A which cause some background noise.Nothing heavy, no skips, pops or jumps but some crackly background. Small amount of groove wear to Side A about one third of the way in, but nothing serious. Gatefold jacket has minor corner dings and creasing. Spines and seams are complete. Lamination is complete without problems. (vg/ex)
