Title: Don Cherry - Organic Music

Unplayed 2 LP set from 1972 on the swedish CAPRICE label.Released only in Sweden,this is one of the rarest D.Cherry records and it’s also one of his most spiritual,too.On these 1971 and 1972 recordings,Don is accompanied by exotic instruments like the tambura or the sarangi(both from India),the african Hunter’s Harp or the brazilian Berimbau.Sidemen include Okay Temiz on drums,Maffy Falay on trumpet a.o.D.Cherry himself plays (besides his trumpet)the Chinese Ceramic Flute,Harmonium,Conches and more. Tracks include a version of Pharoa Sanders’ “The Creator has a masterplan”,2 Terry Riley tunes,Cherry’s”Sidharta”,”Elixir”,”Utopia & Visions” plus more.

Very beautiful laminated fold-out cover including a record-sized insert with infos in swedish,german and english.

Condition:I found the album in still sealed condition,only a small part was open.I opened it completely to check the condition and to avoid finding a re-sealed/used copy.Now I can tell you:the records are in unplayed,MINT condition.I have exchanged the original PVC-innersleeves against deluxe-innersleeves(but I will include the original sleeves in the parcel).The cover is in mint--,there’s only slightest wear on the corners and a minimal age-spotting inside the gatefold at the outter right side.The insert is as new in mint-.
