Luis Felipe González es el nombre de este gran músico (cantante, compositor, arreglista, bajista y director de orquesta) a quien en los años setenta se le conoció con el apelativo de Don Filemón. Desde muy chamo comenzó en la música y ya siendo un adolescente se convirtió en la voz líder de la agrupación dirigida por su hermano, “Nelson y su Estrellas”.
En el año 1975 decide montar tienda a parte y funda su propia agrupación “Don Filemón y su Banda”, la misma que en el vecino país Colombia es llamada “La Super Banda”.
