DON JULIAN
& THE MEADOWLARKS

Let's take a glance at the exciting career of Don Julian and the Meadowlarks. Don Julian, the leader of the Meadowlarks vocal group, attended John C. Fremont High School where he was a member of various musical organizations. His outstanding musical abilities were noticed even as early as his grammar school days. Although his first hit song, "Heaven and Paradise," wasn't recorded until he entered high school, it was written while he was still a student in Junior high.

For the past eight years he has received royalties from it annually. Songs by Don Julian have been on a number of rock and roll albums. He is famous for his ballads; and through the years he has proved his versatility by singing Latin, Twist, and Romantic ballads. Some of his well- known hits include: “Heaven and Paradise,” “Always and Always,” ‘This Must Be Paradise,” ‘Doing The Cha Cha Cha,” ‘I'm a Believer,” ‘Heaven Only Knows,” and many many more. While attending Fremont High School he was a star in track, gymnastics, and a cappella choir. He received awards for outstanding achievements in music.

Don Julian and the Meadowlarks have combined efforts to present the finest musical entertainment for young and old alike. They sincerely hope that you will enjoy the excerpts from this album.

On this album you get Don Julian And the Meadowlarks singing their versions of several of today’s best songs. Songs from the Skyliners, Ray Charles, Ed Townsend, Kathy Young, The Moonglows, The Slades, and others are given the group treatment.
