DON WILKERSON – SHOUTIN’! – BLUE NOTE 4145 – NEW YORK – EAR - M- - MONO

Recorded on July 29, 1963, this Van Gelder session features Don Wilkerson on tenor, Grant Green on tenor, John Patton on organ and Ben Dixon on drums. SIDE 1: MOVIN’ OUT; COOKIN’ WITH CLARENCE and EAST LIVING. SIDE 2: HAPPY JOHNNY; BLUES FOR J. and SWEET CAKE. It bares an EAR stamp on both sides on the blank vinyl and ‘VAN GELDER” is stamped on both sides as well. The LP label is “NEW YORK USA” and the record jacket is “43 West 61st. St., New York 23”. This is a MONO recording.

I have rated is LP as M_ for the following reasons. The vinyl is clear of any marks on both sides of the LP. There is no wear on or around the spindle hole on either side of the record. It has it is original Blue note sleeve. The record jacket is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear. There is a sticker on the liner notes “Big Guys B” and some slight discoloration on the liner notes. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
