Original pressing of Donald Byrd - band & voices, with Byrd on trumpet, Hank Mobley on tenor and Kenny Burrell on guitar along with others. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder for BLUE NOTE in the early 60's, this is an interesting recording that reflects the influence of Gospel music on the Hard-Bop genre. The record is Very Good Plus with the New York USA labels on both sides. The cover is Very Good with a 1/2" split on the upper-right corner and a 1/4" split on the lower-right corner that have been neatly taped. There is also slight ring wear near the top and price tag residue on the front. Maintained in a smoke & pet free environment. US shipping only via media mail with tracking.
