DONALD BYRD: BLUE NOTE Records BLP-4019 Mono (Mfd in the USA in the late 50's) BYRD IN HAND - Original Vinyl Album---Not a Recent Reissue - The Matrix Numbers are: (hand etched) BN.LP- 4019-A, followed by the Ear Mark, and RVG machine stamped in large letters; (hand etched) BN.LP-4019-B with RVG machine stamped in large letters and the Ear Mark. The Cover would be in Excellent Condition, but there is a circle in the middle of the Back where it stuck to the Cover of another Record. There are also some small Corner Tip wear marks, which you can see in the Pictures. So it's probably VG+/Fine with the big Ring/Circle tear on the Back. No Bends, no Creases, no Stains, no Writing, no Splits, no Ring Wear (if you don't count that tear on the Back). The Back Cover is otherwise clean and only slightly off-white; I couldn't get a very good Picture of it due to poor lighting conditions. The Labels are clean and New on both Sides. The Vinyl Record looks New on one Side; the other Side has several extremely small and extremely light "paper scuffs" and it looks Almost New/New. It plays consistently an Extremely Strong VG++/Almost New. I've posted some Audio Clips from both Sides of this Album, starting with Side 1. Just click on the BIG MICROPHONE Icon and listen for yourself. CRANK IT UP! I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. This can ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $23.00; shipping to Canada will cost $15.00. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. I can combine items for multiple wins and lower shipping. PLEASE READ THIS: If bidding on this reaches $50-$120, and it goes to a non-US Buyer, it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Postage (to comply with PAYPAL regulations), but I'll pay $8.00 of the $16.00 Registered Mail fee; Registered Mail is a little slower than 1st Class Mail, but it's more dependable, and it does provide a Tracking Number and some Insurance. If it sells for $120-$500, and it goes to a non-USA Buyer, it will have to ship AIR PRIORITY, which runs around $50; I’ll have to Insure it myself, and will have to declare full sales value on the packing slip for Insurance purposes.
