Do you remember 'browsing'? Well, now you can travel back to the magical days of record stores! Yes, relive that thrilling moment of walking through the doors of The Wherehouse, Peaches, Licorice Pizza, Tower Records(!), Wallach's Music City and so many others, and entering the carefree world of browsing for music. The bins! The sections! The displays! Donna was part of that long ago magic. Here she transports you to 1982 to experience the release of her much-anticipated Quincy Jones produced album, Donna Summer. This promo cardboard standee seductively welcomes you to that incredible time, that unforgettable music and that Donna. Clad in purple and topped with an explosion of luxurious ebony curls, Donna investigated "The Mystery of Love," forged a "State of Independence" and announced that "Love Is In Control (Finger On The Trigger)"!
Donna stands a fantastic 28 1/2" x 34". She has never been displayed and has been stored flat and away from light in a smoke-free environment. The stabilizing apparatus on the backside is still intact, just waiting for you to select the exact right spot in your home and exclaim, "Aha! Disco right here!" There is some wear along the edges. However, most of what appears to be wear and white edges in Donna's hair are actually in the original photographic image and are a result of inexact factory cutting.
