On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Donovan called "Open Road" and is an INCREDIBLY rare UK 1970 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dawn label!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT THIS LP IS IN INCREDIBLE CONDITION, AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS LP WAS OWNED BY 1 PREVIOUS OWNER FROM NEW, AND HE WAS A VERY SERIOUS COLLECTOR INDEED, WHO TOOK EVERY CARE TO KEEP HIS RECORDS IN THE BEST CONDITION POSSIBLE!!!! THIS LP WAS KEPT IN A PLASTIC SLEEVE FROM NEW, AND THE RECORD WAS BARELY PLAYED AT ALL!!!! THIS LP WAS ALSO STORED IN A SPECIALLY MADE RECORD CABINET (OUT OF SUNLIGHT) AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO KEEP HIS LPS IN EXACTLY IN THE SAME CONDITION AS THEY WERE BOUGHT!!!! AS A RESULT THE COVER LOOKS LIKE IT JUST CAME FROM THE SHOP, - AND THE RECORD IS SIMPLY AWESOME!!!! IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION AGAIN!!!!! THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ORANGE DAWN LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING 'RECORD SHOP' CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is DNLS 3009 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Orange Dawn label (see picture) and is a 1970 Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL (virtually NONE)!!!! Not only that but the sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!! The record must grade Excellent++++ if not MINT(Minus)!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Cover is in AMAZING 'Record Shop' condition and is IMPOSSIBLE to find like this!!!! It has NO edge wear AT ALL (as new), NO spinal wear AT ALL (as new), NO corner wear, NO record impression, absolutely NO rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear AT ALL, NO creases (cover is PERFECTLY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are PERFECTLY straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in PERFECT condition with NO writing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO grubbyness!!!! The cover MUST grade MINT and amazingly looks EXACTLY like it did when it left the record shop back in 1970!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS INCREDIBLE CONDITION AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
