TITLE : H.M.S. Donovan
(1971 ORIGINAL UK DAWN DNLP 4001)

This album is the perfect true ‘acid folk’ album. 
A truly beautiful double set that was issued on the Pye spin-off label Dawn. 
sold very poorly and remains one of the most elusive albums in his catalogue. 
Record one has music of surreal charm, using classic children's poetry. 
Record two comprises mainly self-written material with some magical and haunting songs. 
This is as good as they ever get. Do not lose this spell-binding dreamy acid folk classic.

VINYL : MINT-, 2 Heavy and thick vinyls are all super clean and immaculate condition only a couple of whipsy hairlines on it, perfect.
SLEEVE : Non-laminted gatefold sleeve has some edge wears but great overall, a real nice keepers copy.
LABEL : Original first press Dawn orange labels are in great condition. side 4 has some spindle marks.

Really rare original UK first pressing. sadly, there is no poster.

(c) my opinion of what sounds good for a many decades old recording may not match your opinion
hence, no returns because of "pops", "crackles" or muffled sound; 

returns are only accepted if the record is in a worse visual condition than i have described.
