Rare Early Cardinals On First Press Yellow Atlantic Label.

Cardinals. Atlantic-952. “I’ll Always Love You” b/w “Pretty Baby Blues.” 1951. VG 5 (VG). Some darkening of the label---Yellow Atlantics tend to do that, scattered light marks and faint scuffs on the wax, but fidelity still outstanding for the grade, a little background noise but still very clear. Many would call this VG+. Ernie Warren, Tree Hardy, Prince Brothers, Jack Johnson, and Sam Aydolotte work that Baltimore street corner magic on this one! My cheap-o scanner does not do the records justice, the shadows and lack of lustre are the scanner’s fault---the records are as advertised or nicer, guaranteed!
