WHOLESALE LOT OF 8 NEW-NEVER PLAYED FIREFLY 45S; PLEASE READ CAREFULLY   This is a lot of 8 Mint 45s on the FIREFLY label. CONDITION: ALL are NEW - STORE STOCK and have NEVER BEEN PLAYED     You will not find a lower price for these (and they are all mint - never played Before bidding, please CHECK and see what other sellers are asking for each of these records. Our price is a small fraction of what others want and our records are brand NEW (while most others are asking much more for USED copies.)   The following is a list of the 8 records. They were all released on Firefly in about 1974. The Skylark labe lwas owned by the highly respected major researcher/collector James (Sal) Passantino. In general, the label featured recordings that were not previously available on 45s; some unreleased, some (e.g., the Casstle-Tones) that were alternate unreleased takes and a few hwere the price of an original 45 (e.g., the Billy Dawn Qt,'s "This is The Real Thing Now") was well beyond what almost all could afford to pay for it.     Firefly 313 - Rainbows: If You See Mary Lee b/w Ooh My Soul

============================ ========== A general note about theDoo Wop 45s that we sell: Collector Pressings, Reproductions & Reissues   These records were pressed in very limited quantities several decades ago solely for the relatively small Doo Wop Collector's Market. Pressings generally did not exceed 500 copies and sometimes were much less. With the passing of time, the growth in the number of collectors and the declining number of records available, the value of these records has grown significantly due to the law of supply and demand. Today, many of these records have become very hard to find collectors' items.   As stated above, these records are brand new, dealer or store stock, and have never been played. Sometimes fidelity of recordings may not be up to year 2020 standards, because, it must be remembered, almost all of these recordings were originally produced 60 or more years ago, and may have been produced from Masters that were not always in pristine condition. Some of the original masters for the original records themselves were produced on what today some might call "primitive equipment," in "studios" that could have been a basement or garage. But, for the true collector that all adds to the magic and honesty of these recordings. In a small number of instances, they may have even been recorded with some surface noise, even though records are brand new. This affects a very limited number of records, and is an accepted part of some of these old recordings. All records have Never Been Played, therefore I cannot tell you anything about surface noise (in the few cases where it exists) or about reversed labels (in the very, very few cases where that occurs.)   A note regarding scans of records in my auction. Due to the scanning process, colors may not always be a 100% replication of the actual color of the record label. For reasons unknown to me this seems to affect a small number of records, mainly with some "blue" labels. Silver or gold print on the labels also does not always reproduce well.
