Description

Hi,  I will be putting dozens of Doors records on over the next few weeks. All will be played  from begining to end through an AT MC cart OL Silver arm, SRM kinetic ultra deck  and also at the moment with the added listening upgrade of Critical kush. So I will mention any snap, crackle, pop or graffiti worth mentioning.
Also all records are already kept in poly sleeves and out of the covers and will stay that way for delivery in proper boxes not crappy bendy mailers of which I have had many a bent sleeve with. Also as a matter of routine I clean all my records on my moth cleaning machine.

Made in the USA. Side 1 matrix.  EKS-75005-A    AL     MMMD
Side 2 matrix   EKS-75005-B    AL     LMLL

Just want to say that this record is the album that Elektra switched from the gold to red labels? They ran out of golds very quickly then switched to the reds it was that simple so over 95% of 1st presses are red and the very earliest are gold and also this is 2nd rarest US press after Waiting for the sun Mono 2000 copies? And far rarer than any UK 1st press. Also a while ago someone on a forum tried to tell me that this did not exist and it must be a canadian or a german copy?  I do see the common canadian copy on ebay quite often and more often than not try to pass it of as a US copy (all Canadian 1st press gold) Had this since about 1980 when I did the bulk of my collecting and this was the 1st time I have played it. And it plays just about perfect with no pops, ticks, crackling between tracks? Cranked up no distortion just vibrant 1st press sound.
The labels under light show  4 or 5 of the faintest trail lines that under normal light virtually disappear?
The vinyl does have 5 or 6 surface removal lines from an inch to 5 inches long and some light marks but it is not full of surface marks and still looks like a little used record and is still close to a genuine EX visually and far better sonically. This has had only a handful of plays

The gatefold cover has top and bottom seam splits about 5 inches long but great in every other way, but it is the same cover for the red label so easy to upgrade? With original inner with two 3 inch seam splits.

Will happily refund if not happy, any questions? WILL COMBINE POSTAGE.
