DOORS "Strange Days" TOPRARE ORIG. GER Lp HIT-TON 1967

"Strange Days", die ALLERERSTE Lp der DOORS in Deutschland ( klar ist die "Same" die erste, aber in GER erst 1 Jahr später veröffentlicht), hier als GER ORIGINAL ERSTPRESSUNG auf HIT-TON Deutsche Vogue mit der Stereobestnr. HTSLP 340046. When The Music`s Over". Also optisch very good / +, spielt ansonsten einwandfreies vg+, deswegen Gesamtnote very good (vg). Das halblaminierte Cover mit kleinen, kaum zu sehenden Initialien (D.O.), und die etwas angestossene Ecke unten links, sowie etwas Ringwear, ansonsten in schönem very good+ (vg+,swocb) Zustand erhalten. Kommt mit orig. Innenhülle! Ein "Holy Grail" für Plattensammler, es sollen damals nur 2000 Stück in Umlauf gekommen sein............................................................

"Strange Days", rare second Lp by THE DOORS from Venice CA and released at THE END of 1967. On offer is the ultra rare German ORIG. FIRSTPRESSING on the HIT-TON-Deutsche Vogue label with catnumber HTSLP 340046. This Lp is so damned rare: Only 2000 where quickly made&sold, because the first distribution rights for Elektra in Germany are holded by the Deutsche Vogue then (Vogue in France sold the first three Lp`s on the Vogue label, also the first three singles in Germany are released on the Vogue label), after that, and very immediate, the German sister (sublabel) of Elektra, Metronome takes over and start with the destribution of that album in the beginning of 1968. This more common variation is known as "Gold-Elektra" label. This HIT-TON issue of "Strange Days" is also the absolutely first Lp release by THE DOORS in Germany, altough the Lp "The Doors" is the real first album (In USA&U.K.) by this band. Now to the condition: Vinyl is cleaned with V.P.I. cleaningmachine & completely audio checked: The very heavy vinyl is average played, has a few short tiny surface scratches, the whole surface looks between very good and very good+, plays pressureful and fresh, just crackeling slightly in the quiter passages, also a couple of slight clicks are notable here and there, further one short skip at "When The Music`s Over", rest plays fine very good+ throughout. So I give a very good for the whole vinyl (vg), both labels are clean. The halflaminated cover with the small initials  "D.O." on backside left hand corner (hard to see), also light ringwear and left bottom corner with stronger wear, otherwise clean with intact seams, pretty very good+ (vg+,swocb) condition therefor. Comes with it`s orig. Innersleeve! Very very very rare.................................................More DOORS are open in our other auctions........................................
