This Lp shows no significatn Cover ringwear and no seam splits
No cutout corners or holes or barcode
No stains, or owner writing or labels
Edgewear & some hints of ringwear on back cover and inside gatefold prevents this Cover from moving into the NM or NM- category.
I would rate it a solid VG++.
The Vinyl is in the VG+ range due to some visible hairline scuffs.
I tested any areas where the surface scuffs were found and they do not affect play.
What makes this a great great album is the First pressing Sound Fidelity.
The Recording of this First press is awesome!!
The stereo separation and richness of sound is a total pleasure!
Morrison's vocals are clear and powerful.
On this Original Pressing you will also hear subtle instrumentation that you have never heard before or as clearly
Surface noise is nearly non-existent here
(I did hear a few crackles in "Five To One" but only in the quietest passages)
I am offering this classic album pressing with hesitation as you don't find these Doors Lps with this kind of sound quality too often.....but since I "burned" my favorite tracks onto CD it is time to share it. ENJOY!
