PLEASE NOTE: THIS AUCTION WILL RUN TO COMPLETION, I WILL NOT SET A 'BUY IT NOW' PRICE.  This is an ORIGINAL 1968 ELEKTRA RECORDS U.S. FIRST PRESS MUSTARD BROWN LABEL MONO ISSUE OF THE 1968 LP titled 'Waiting For The Sun' from The Doors.  It is Elektra Records U.S. catalog number EKL-4024, mustard brown Elektra Records labels, 1A/1A stampers indicating a first pressing, with original Unipak gatefold cover, which has the mono catalog number printed on the front and back covers, with no 'mono' sticker.

Condition of record is a super nice NM- with just one extremely small and light barely visible surface mark which cannot be felt and does not affect play.  I have placed the record into a high quality inner sleeve with static free dust free lining, the original plain paper inner sleeve is also included.  Condition of cover is VG+ with no real serious flaws - There is some wear along the spine, including a small area in the middle of the spine where the top layer of paper is worn away (see my accompanying image), some light age discoloration in the white areas on the inside of the gatefold cover, a few wrinkles, some contact and ring wear on both the outside and the inside of the gatefold cover, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.  Cover has NO drill holes, water damage, tape, splits, tears, writing, or stickers.  Please e-mail me with any questions.  This 1968 mono pressing is the rarest 'holy grail' Doors regular U.S. issue vinyl LP that exists - It would be a crowning cornerstone addition to any Doors or classic rock record collection!  Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - REGISTERED FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY is $27.95 to Canada, $35.95 to all other areas.  BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE!
