Description
On offer this very rare original 1st UK VINYL pressing complete with pvc window and later banned inner sleeve which was released during 1971 on the ELEKTRA Records label K 42090 with the matrix A1/B1. This album comes from my personal collection of VINYL albums purchased new in the 1960s & 1970s, it has been well cared for, little played and kept stored upright in a protective plastic outer sleeve
CONDITION: The vinyl displays a good deep gloss, there are a small number of light wispy surface marks none of which create any audio problems on playback, the record plays perfectly throughout with superb stereo sound quality, the labels are as new except for a single visible spindle trace line on side one. The original black on yellow printed inner sleeve with rounded corners is very clean and tidy with just a little creasing, it has no splits or tears. The embossed cover is overall in great shape, it has rounded corners and a die-cut PVC plastic window which has a photo image of the group printed on it. There is a small amount of surface damage located to the front and rear top right hand corner where a circular self adhesive index label has been removed, see photos.
Using the Record Collectors Grading system I have rated the vinyl EXCELLENT+ and the cover as VERY GOOD+
