Description

Artist:   DORY LANGDON

Title:   “Leprechauns are Upon Me”

Label:   VERVE.  Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Label is dark blue with silver text, with deep groove.  Catalog number is MG V-2101.

Year:  1958.

Condition:

Vinyl would grade NEAR MINT except for one very slight area on Side B, Track #2 where it appears a needle dropped leaving several tiny marks that produce several audible soft ticks.  Otherwise, the playing surfaces are clean and play beautifully.  Fidelity is superb.  Labels are clean and pristine with no spindle trail marks.  You will be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding copy of this scarce gem.

Jacket is beautiful NM- with clean, bright artwork.  Seams, spine, and surfaces are superb.  Reverse is clean and white, except for a two very small black marks (felt marker?) near the bottom of the spine, almost unnoticeable.  Bottom left corner is very slightly bumped.   Overall a very fine jacket to accompany the superb disc.

Track Listing:

Side One:

  • Can’t We Be Enemies
  • Lonely Girl in London
  • Let Me Show You Off

Side Two:

  • No
  • Sea Shell
  • Many Sides
  • Gooney Bird
  • Just for Now
