Doug Watkins "Watkins At Large" Transition TRLP-20

Original U.S. release mono pressing from 1956 on the very rare Transition jazz label. This LP is one of the rarest jazz records pressed. A first issue mono pressing on thick vinyl with flat edge, and flat black label and gold print. The matrix references read TRLP 20 A CR on side A, and TRLP 20 B R on side B. Please note that side A has its original label intact, but the label is missing for Side B. This was a common flaw / issue with these labels, as the adhesive used o hold the labels securely to the record often failed.  However, I have scanned a downloadable label for side B (the exact dimensions) if you would like it for making  label or having one professionally restored to place on the LP. I can also ship the copy of the label to you. The example of the side B label I have available is showed in the images here. The LP has a few light surface scratches and scuffs, and is graded in VG+ condition. The jacket is in nice shape. The laminated front is pretty clean and glossy. There's a light stain at top left corner area. The jacket's back is a textured finish as shown, and has minor corner surface wear and a light stain. The seams are in nice shape. The jacket is graded in a strong VG+ condition. The booklet is not included with the LP. One of the hardest and rarest jazz LP's to find. A U.S. purchase will come with full insurance.
