Description

DOUGLAS AND LONERO Featuring Chico Fernandez -- Live At Charley Brown's -- ex. rare, original 1973 U.S. album.  Pretty awesome and highly sought-after Private Press Funk-Soul Monster here loaded with serious bass and funky wah-wah guitar on killer covers of Right Place Wrong Time, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Deeper and Deeper etc.  Douglas and Lonero released a handful of 45's including the later Soul rarity "Don't Let Yourself Get Carried Away" on RCA, but this album -- recorded live at Charley Brown's in Marina Del Rey -- is easily their best and funkiest work.  Killer stuff.  See photos for track listing.  Cover:  VG+, tiny 1/2" split at upper right corner, removable price sticker upper right front, ring wear, wear along opening edge.  Record:  VG+++, tiny scuff on Side Two, overall excellent, on Haji private label, U.S. press.  For overseas buyers:  record must be sent with signature delivery confirmation, many thanks.
