Description
Recorded in 1980 (more than two decades before DJ Spooky upped the Presidential cut-up ante with George W. Bush's "State of the Union") and released as a flexi-disc with issue number four of Art Spiegelman's groundbreaking Raw zine in March 1982, Douglas Kahn's inspired treatment of a Ronald Reagan interview ranks high among remix culture's most hilarious milestones. Sure, the audio is readily available online, but simply hitting "play" on a file can't compare with the very physical reality of dropping your needle on this very nice copy of the flexi--especially given the low minimum bid amount.
The flexi disc is in very good plus to excellent condition with just a bit of minor edge wear. PLEASE NOTE THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE FLEXI-DISC ONLY - THE ISSUE OF RAW MAGAZINE THE FLEXI WAS ISSUED IN IS NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF THIS AUCTION.
