DR STRANGELY STRANGE – Heavy Petting
(UK Original First Press on VERTIGO, # 6360 009 from 1970)
Label/Sleeve -> Swirl Vertigo label with White label on one side with track listing Swirl Logo covering the other label (see picture), Non Laminated Paper Gimmick Sleeve. Original Vertigo Polylined Inner sleeve.

Grade (Cover/Vinyl) -> VG+ / EX(+)
Description -> Vinyl is in superb shape, clean and shiny. Plays with great fidelity and warmth. Lightest of background sound noticeable but very enjoyable sounding.
The gimmick cover has the lower flaps creased and torn at a few places (See picture), No Seam splits but has creases and rub wear. Top right sticker Peel off. (see picture).
Extremely tough to find this one. Has vintage Andy Irvine from Sweeney’s Men, Planxty and Patrick Street fame playing on it. He was amazed to see a copy of this when I took it to him at a Patrick Street concert early last year. On my other copy which he signed he wrote “It’s a Rarity”.
