Dr. Z---"Three Parts To My Soul"---Original UK Pressed Stereo Album In EX/VG+ Playing Condition On The Vertigo Label---1Y/1 and 2Y/1 From 1971---With Ultra Rare Vertigo Press Release from September 1971, Original 0671 Swirl Inner and Lovely Gimmix Fold Out Sleeve
This is a UK copy from 1971 in stereo on the swirl Vertigo label, cat. no. 6360 048 with matrices 1Y/1 and 2Y/1.
Vinyl: EX/VG+. The vinyl is in nice condition with a great shine and just a couple of light hairlines on side 1 and distinct poly residue on side 2, which I have experienced before and is impossible to remove, even though it doesn't affect playing. Side 1 plays as follows: track 1 is EX+ with just a little very light surface noise in quiet parts then a little light crackle between tracks 1 and 2. Track 2 has some light crackle in quiet parts and a slightly louder surface noise for a short time in mid track quiet parts. The rest of this side is EX. Side 2 plays with a light "swishy" hissing at the start and during the quiet parts of this side.
Labels: NM. Labels are in great condition with no markings . There is very little spindle wear.
Sleeve: EX. The Gimmix fold out sleeve is in very solid condition with just a little edge and corner wear. There very light folding on the vulnerable parts of the front flaps. The inside fold out is beautiful condition.
Press Release: The rare press release from September 1971 is from Rachel Leighton of Philips Records Ltd., giving the history of Dr. Z and introducing this album. A very scarce addition to find with this record and is in superb condition.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
