Description
Original cast album for the 1965 Broadway musical flop DRAT! THE CAT! starring Elliott Gould and Lesley Ann Warren. Introduced the hit song “She Touched Me,” recorded by Gould’s wife at the time, Barbra Streisand (as “He Touched Me”) as a single. This is a live recording released in the mid-1980s. This is a VERY RARE recording limited to only 500 pressings.
PLAY-TESTED — Record: NM-, Sleeve: EX-. Record plays beautifully with no skips; very minimal crackling in few occasions. Note from the record company regarding the sound: “The rarity of this material justifies its release even with occasional almost unnoticeable audio imperfections.” In other words, don’t expect a crystal clear, perfect sound; they tried their best with a 20-year-old live tape recording. Sleeve has very minimal scuffing (bottom of back cover) as well as a few creases on corners from bends, mostly unnoticeable by casual glance (top left and bottom right of front cover).
