Description

THE VAGABONDS, yet another name adopted by the California Ramblers, this time for their work on Gennett, do two excellent numbers, both "Charleston" tunes - all the vogue in late 1924:  the not-so-dreary "DREARY WEATHER" and the immensely popular Vincent Youmans tune,  "I WANT TO BE HAPPY." 


Hot solos abound, especially by ADRIAN ROLLINI on his uniquely agile bass sax.   


This original 1924 Gennett 5539 is in lovely EE- condition.
