Drexciya remain one of electro's most visionary forces with their singular sound being a raw, uncompromising reflection of Detroit's industrial spirit but reworked through the lens of an underwater civilisation. merging from the Underground Resistance collective under Mad Mike Banks, their records combined futuristic electro rhythms with a deep, mythological concept rooted in the Black Atlantic and Journey Of The Deep Sea Dweller III revisits their fine legacy. Rather than replicate the past, this reissue reimagines Drexciya's catalogue in ways that will appeal to older ears and newcomers. Drexciya's submerged world is still utterly unique to them and still way ahead of its time.
