Description
Yo people!
Here we have a D.R.I. "Crossover" vinyl record from 1987. This is Death Records 011 (a division of Metal Blade) / Restless Records catalog #72201-1.
I do believe this is a first/original pressing BUT please check Discogs (runout information on vinyl matches, etc.) for more info on this catalog release to be sure, as I'm no expert.
I've had this in my possession for decades. Here's what comes with the sale:
Vinyl: It's in good condition as far as I can see with no scratches at all. There are definitely fingerprints/smudges but I am no expert and don't know how to clean vinyl, so I'm leaving (and selling) as-is due to this! You can see in the pics how it looks.
Inner sleeve: Restless Records plastic sleeve with their catalog and mail order information printed on it.
Lyric sheet: There's a black and white lyric sheet with band photos printed on the other side of it. Definitely a bunch of dirty rotten imbeciles, here.. (heh heh)
Main sleeve/cover: So, there is a smudge which MAY be removable, as it looks like sticker residue but to me this is the most glaring issue. This is shown in the pictures. There's some wear to the corners, but nothing too crazy in my opinion. Here's the kicker, and I see this now on a lot of my old punk records I pulled out of the closet - There are staple holes on each corner. If I recall, I used to staple my album covers to my wall as a kid (sadly I had a lot I even cut up to put on my wall, thereby completing ruining them! But anyway...) They're each two small holes with the 'dent' of a staple in it. This is shown in pics so please check that out and understand what I mean.
Overall, I would say this is in quite good condition, with the main exceptions being the staple holes and that smudge. In any case, I'm not vinyl expert or collector, so I am selling as-is since I don't know how to grade or anything. I just explain what I can in full detail and match that with pictures in the listing. I don't want to clean and risk scratching, so I would think a collector would be able to sort that out.
Buyer to pay flat $10.00 shipping/packing/handling to US only, please.
Any questions, let me know! Thanks for looking!
