Description
You are bidding on "CREATION" by THE DRUIDS OF STONEHENGE on UNI 73004 released in STEREO in 1968. This is an original album.
The Druids could be called late "folk rock", but they also had the sound of "psychedelic" rock. They formed in New York in 1965 and lasted until 1969. In my opinion, "Painted Woman" and the excellent cover of Dylan's "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" are the best on the album.
Condition: I traded for this with a friend who didn't take very good care of his records, but it is rare and I really wanted it. The jacket has some rubbing and the edges are pretty worn, though there are no splits. The record has quite a few light scratches and rubs and wants to skip at one point on "Painted Woman", but it may not on your turntable. The white spots on the record are reflections. I would grade the record VG+.
I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
