DRUSALEE & THE DEAD-45-“Lily” b/w “Exodus”-Vardan Records #303-Cryptic, Tortured 1966 Sacramento, California Garage/Punk-I stated Sacramento, as I believe that is where this is from, but in the back of my mind San Jose, California flashes on, but I am am certain this is a Sacramento 45. A ‘Holy Grail’ record nonetheless!! A side is KILLERKOOL-Farfisa-organ dominated with a sort of Little Boy Blues ‘Great Train Robbery’ chord structure, great tortured, gutteral lead vocal, with a KILLERKOOL, cryptic Farfisa organ break. Very primitive at times. B side is a great guitar instrumental version of the Ultracool ‘Exodus’. Great primitive 2-sided punker...Note: A side ‘Lily’ was covered by the Lyres...
