D'TREE TODES The Tode/Just Like You RARE DEMO 45 midwest 1960s garage folk psych Shipping Info Description SUPER RARE unheard-of private midwest psych / garage rock demo 45: D'TREE TODES - THE TODE b/w JUST LIKE YOU - Demonstration copy, recorded by Larry Blakeley, Century Custom Recording Services, Dodge City, Kansas; catalog number 21097. This band was active 1964-1967, from Garden City KS; there is one other 45 of theirs out there, but I don't think this one was ever properly released beyond this demo-only pressing. You can listen to clips of this on Youtube (channel "Ham Randy").
Don't wait until the last minute to bid - this one is going to be hot! And please check out our other rare 45s that are also ending on Sunday - The Vultures (garage rock on on JRJ), The Xanadus (garage rock on Encore), Cellophane Spectacle (virtually unknown Iowa soul psych), Harry Deal & The Galaxies (htf mod soul), Little Willie & the Hyde-A-Ways (unique acetate of Kansas City R&B), autographed Steve Ellis (Minnesota psych), and more.
Condition: VG- (moderate to heavy scuffing and some light scratches, but mainly surface - I can just barely feel a few of them; plays through and sounds VG+ with some minor background noise; labels have some rubbing and an X on one side).
(Vintage Records, Vinyl, Single, Garage Rock, Psych, Pop, Rock & Roll, Midwest, Demo, Promo, 1960's, Collectibles, Souvenir, Memorabilia).

Shipping Info PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: All items are very well-packed for shipment and always include tracking numbers. Non-media items have the shipping cost noted in the auction, but we offer FREE SHIPPING TO U.S. CUSTOMERS ON ALL MEDIA ITEMS - that means that the auction price includes your shipping costs - this free shipping applies to books & magazines (price includes $3-$5 media mail shipping), postcards, photos, booklets & pamphlets (price includes $1.50-$3, 1st class or media mail shipping), record albums (7"s/45s include $3.00 1st class shipping; 10" and LPs include $3-$5 media mail shipping), cassettes, reel tapes, and CDs (includes $2 to $4, 1st class or mm).REGARDING IMAGE QUALITY: Some of our older listings have images of poor quality; a few months ago Ebay changed their image size policies, and I was forced to automatically enlarge the images for all of last years' remaining items, which caused them to be grainy and blurry.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - please contact me prior to bidding so I can determine Airmail shipping rates for you, and we are always happy to combine multiple items.
WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE ALMOST ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE IMAGES. We grade all items conservatively, and when grading record albums we follow the Goldmine Record Guide. Please see our other Ebay auctions for many used, odd, rare and collectible books and records, paper & ephemera, and more. Thank you!
