Description
TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This is another way I plan to sell off my huge collection of 45's - selling multiple singles by the same artist(s). This is a set of five (5) excellent to near mint conditioned 45's by the legendary '60's guitar playing artist, Duane Eddy, from the years 1958-'63. All five (5) songs and their labels are pictured above and four of the five come with their original picture sleeves - the fifth - "Rebel Rouser" - comes with an original Jamie Records company sleeve (and all are pictured above). All five of the 45's are listed in some detail at the end of this listing, so please check that out as well. So, here's your chance to get all these early recordings by this 50's-'60's instrumental superstar - who certainly should be in the R'n'R Hall Of Fame, but still isn't - in one auction and one mailing. I plan to do this with other 50's-'60's artists as well, so if buying an artist/group in numbers is of interest to you, please continue to check out my site. LABEL INFO: All are in great shape - no real serious issues at all - although one B-side label has an easily removable "numbered" masking tape on the one side only and there are a few very small "wear" marks on a couple of the others. Otherwise, all are just fine and in excellent to near mint condition (see pics above). VINYL INFO: The five (5) records are all very shiny, clean, and nice, and again, I can see nothing seriously negative to mention here either. If you look closely enough under a very bright light, there are some completely uneventful surface/paper lines in a few places on just a couple of them - but they are light and difficult to actually see. Otherwise, I honestly can see no serious flaws at all and a couple are actually "like new". PICTURE SLEEVE: The four hard to find picture sleeves range in condition from very good to excellent - and I'm leaning towards the excellent here. There are some small crease/wrinkle like lines along the open top seams and in a few other spots on a couple of them, but nothing too serious (again, view all the pics above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, these classic and collectible 45s/PSs are basically very clean and nice, so please have at 'em. As always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (1st Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for this entire package, then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $28.00 for this five record package and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
