Exceptional collectors piece! Duke Ellington and John Coltrane only recorded together once, this album, recorded in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on September 26, 1962.
Features Ellington standards, new Ellington compositions, and a new Coltrane composition ("Big Nick"). Spontaneous performances recorded on the first take. 
A rare reissue from 1968. Nice clean shiny gloss. Well taken care of.
