Description
Fun story and incredible collection piece. Purchased from a collection out of Forli, Italy and imported myself. With an incoming newborn this excellent collection piece must go.
As it’s been told, this LP may have been used as part of payment by Duke and those he was touring with to stay in a local villa while moving through Europe. This location hosted several jazz musicians, including Bennie Green, and Ornette Colman and this is one of three LP’s acquired by the shop in Forli.
Could be a tall tale, but worth mentioning.
Grading: The family member did attempt to boost the value of the LP when selling by using sharpie on the front and admitted doing so. Considering this and the laminate peeling and overall shelf wear I am grading this VG-
As for the Vinyl, for condition, the vinyl is VG+ and plays clean. It sounds stunning, with only small crackles here and there; you will not be disappointed with this grading.
Do not hesitate to throw a bid down. Keeping the price as low as possible.
