Description

Duke Reid Rock's Steady, Island ILP 958,Very rare and unusual Island compilation, this album has the Island eye logo and cat number on the front and reverse,but also has Trojan on the front and reverse and has the original orange crown Trojan label, with the record matrix as ILP 958, This is a must have for any serious Island or Trojan label Ska, Reggae collector, this LP does not come up for sale often,especially in this condition.The album features some excellent cuts from Alton Ellis, Tommy McCook,and The Techniques, the sleeve is in excellent nick with no laminate creasing,[please note the sides of the front cover are not sun faded it is meant to be 2 shades] the reverse has some storage darkening of the white card [see photo], the vinyl is in ex+to near mint I cant see any marks ,unfortunately I can't play grade as i work away from home and do not have the time, please bid in confidence as I offer a full refund ex postage in the unlikely event of you not being satisfied.
